Ah, Triska never felt so good. We've got a generous helping of puzzles, none too tough, either, so we don't feel too stupid ;)
So here's a sort of resume of recent puzzles:
Barcode: Well it all started with that run of the mill barcode, leading us to a picture...
Mad Hatter: The picture is of Wonderland's lovable cook, the Mad Hatter. But this contorted spin on the classic character has him speaking in tongues, simplified chinese, which gives us some message about book zero and hay. Well that's nice, but our good doctor knew there was something more, she took off a layer of the image and bingo, it leads us to the next Mad Hatter, asking us the question "Why?" this is a nice easy link to...
Book Zero movie: Unfortunatly it only worked for a short time, but while it was working we saw a splendid movie of that elusive book zero. It showed every page, shot with the same grainy camera as always, but a very nice movie. It linked to...
Library Picture: The end of the barcode trail, it was just a picture of a library's book shelves that Iz manipulated a little, didn't lead us anywhere.
The head: Replacing the barcode was a mysterious white image, something faint (a head?) was visible in the backround, upon teaking it we realized that it was in fact a head, and this head (the image) was named TG. After some mumbo jumbo that I can't wrap my head around (stegging? camoflauge?) we got a text file, a nice story. I suggest reading it on IU. Well the story ties in with some director that directed the Twelve Monkies (or Thirteen Monkies, as Iz calls it), we really haven't found the signifigance of this yet (he
was mentioned before, though), I'll get back to ya if we find anything on it
Braille: After the short lived head trail, we get some braille on the front page. Me and Withe translated it and it said that the book was near mount pellier street. Could it be, book zero? Who knows, this is still developing.
The Revenge of the Bar Code: Another bar code popped up briefly (this time on Moon's scribe page, rather than on the bottom of the front page like the rest) and it led us to a story, this time in audio form. I want to link to this just because I enjoyed it so much (it has some cursing it in, just to warn you)
The story of chadThere ya go, a nice little summary of what's been happening puzzle-wise recently. We also have a links page, including the blog you're reading right now *high fives blog* we did it, man!
Keep huntin ;)
